About that ‘not-judging people’ thing

About that 'not-judging people' thing - we took the visitors out for Indian food last night, because they like it but don't often get it, and there's a really good Indian place near home. Unfortunately, just after we got there, another party, a man and two women, arrived, and proceeded to behave exactly like the stereotype English people getting lagered up and going for a curry: Demanding extra chillies with everything, farting and burping both long and loud, being sick but then challenging each other to eat more, peeing all over the toilet floor, and just generally being loud and obnoxious. I didn't know what to say to these poor people we'd taken there for a civilised evening.
As I said to Chris on the way home - "I don't even feel like I belong to the same species as people like that."

Anyway, the visitors are now gone - it's been another lovely day, and it's time to eat and settle in to catch up on Friday's Buffy and Angel.

  1. 1. hmmm, happened and continous to happen to this day.
    2. technically we are all the same species but individually are better off – humans
as a collection human beings work on law of averages
    3. as individuals, we have plenty of excitment generated in life….that keeps life goin, interestin and nones ‘never’ bored
    4. a cross cultural perspective will help but ultimately it all depends on the individuals
a lot of first time examples are mostly worth it, unless its a gross abuse, so one time wonders are blunders are either pardonable sins are simply human to error or whatever, but a repetition where a choice exists is ………. agains sad but true.
    5. eventualy gettin over it or comin to terms or drawing lines or gettin aware of oneself is the learnin experience an the point where wisdom sets in, if one does some homework
    6. so i would take it easy for starts, but do take it an then avoid it the next time, way ahead be4 it even happens-where its avoidable and where its not like a business or a forced social gatherin- then, simply have fun and if there are far too many of them, then dont join the gang, even if u cant beat them.
    7. thanx for sharin an also thanx for givin me an opportunity to share
