Misheard
So I mentioned this evening that Matthew Perry is guest-starring in the episode of The West Wing that premieres in the U.S. tomorrow. And I got this stunned look which seemed inexplicable to me until I realised that what had actually been heard was "Matthew Kelly is guest-starring in The West Wing tomorrow."

I now have images in my head of Mathhew Kelly entering the oval office while stage smoke fills the room. With a voice over saying, “by day Matthew works as a rubblish presenter who nobody gives two hoots over but tonight he is going to be…..”

I can’t see either Matthew being much cop, to be honest. I’ve never been a fan of Friends, and just think that M. Perry is a gurning gimp who never plays anything except himself.
M. Kelly on the other hand is just a gurning gimp.
