Interesting review. It’s a shame to hear about the school-centric angle. Like you, I’d been hoping that the battle would be going beyond Hogwarts now.
I’ve yet to pry it from Tammy’s vice-like grip but she seems to be enjoying it.

only just finished the book and, not that i didn’t trust your ‘no spoilers’ claim, but i’ve tried to avoid all commentary on the book until i’d finished it and so only just read your opinion.
just deleted much of this comment because i’d ended up writing a bit of a spoiler myself. but good review, i agree with much of what you’ve said. my biggest criticism would it was it was overly long, but that didn’t stop enjoying it and finding it almost impossible to put down.
