Please Tell Me This Is A Joke

They're bringing back Blake's Seven.

No, seriously.

They're bringing back Blake's Seven.

I thought it was some kind of sick, twisted monster's idea of a joke, but it's not.

They're bringing back Blake's Seven!!!!!

  1. Orac was my hero.

  2. Thousands of people the world over are not remotely surprised :-P

  3. Oh YIPEE YIPEE and other celebratory noises.

That great quote from Blake himself comes to mind…

“I plan to live forever, or die trying”

And once more, to see the great Jaqueline Pearce as the Scary Scary Servalan…

( you’d never guess Jude and I have the first series on Video would ya.!!)

  4. Damn Damn Damn….
should have checked my facts before getting overexcited.. :-(

Looks like the only member of the original cast to feature in the new version is Paul Darrow…

    Blakes 7 without Servilan….

    It’ll never work.

  5. My dad bought the entire series on Video a few years ago – Love the way Targan 3 or Zenophon 4 is always a chalk pit (Blue Water shopping site circa 1982?) with geezers on 4×4 buggies in orange helmets holding vacuum cleaning attachments. A weirder series there was or has been…

  6. Oh, and Orac is a supercilious desk accesory.

    *humph*

  7. Re: those suspiciously like vacuum cleaner weapons…

    if you go to.

    http://www.blakes-7.co.uk/gadgets.shtml

there are instructions for making all the gadgets out of fairy liquid bottles, sticky back plastic etc.

oh dear, thats filled my mind with thoughts of the lovely Valerie Singleton…did meet her once you know, she was bitching about not being on TV any longer now all the young lovelies have taken over…
