And Speaking Of Treacherous….
Here's one: I'm sorry that I ever voted for your government Mr Blair. You make me ashamed to be a Labour supporter.

From the moment he was selected, Hutton was always going to clear the government of all accounts and pin the blame squarely on the BBC.
In the face of all and any evidence.
And this is precisely what has happened.
The Hutton Report is every bit as selective and misleading as the infamous “Dodgy Dossier”.
The only difference being, we are privy to the original “intelligence”.
And that’s what elevates this whole shady, messy affair into the realms of high farce. It’d be funny if it’s implications weren’t so serious.
If I were any more digusted, I’d have to move to Tunbridge Wells.

Actually, I suppose that as the Hutton Report focussed almost entirely on Gilligan’s initial report, the BBC should limit their apology purely to that.
And somewhere in a parallel universe…

but then the remit of the report was only to investigate Kelly’s death, and the circumstances surrounding that (ie Gilligan’s report etc). Naturally it’s going to be spun to buggery to imply that the government is whiter than white etc
I guess I can at least be thankful that I never voted for the smug bastard in the first place.

and of course leaked before the actual report is due out….
